Que sont les racines ? Et où, comment évoluent-elles ? C’est la question que se pose le célèbre chorégraphe Radouan Mriziga dans cette nouvelle édition de Staging the Concert. Fasciné par la relation entre l’espace, l’architecture, le corps et l’intériorité, il est tout désigné pour donner une nouvelle dimension à l’expérience du concert. Avec des musiciens du Belgian National Orchestra, Mriziga part à la recherche des origines des instruments d’orchestre et du lien entre musicien et instrument au cours d’une soirée consacrée à la musique minimale. Les répétitions constantes et les changements motiviques subtils dans Shaker Loops de John Adams perturbent la perception du temps, ce que Mriziga ne fait qu’approfondir. Soutenu par un paysage sonore atmosphérique et un éclairage sophistiqué, il crée une expérience totale dans la Salle Henry Le Bœuf.
